Raised in foster care in Wales. His mother came out of jail drunk and on drugs. At age 12, Dan made a decision that would define everything — he cut her off. That night his foster parents didn't say a word. They respected his choice. And that was the moment he could finally love them back.
10 Welsh Titles. 3 British Titles.
Became one of the most decorated amateur boxers Wales had ever produced. Named to the Team GB Olympic squad with his sights set on London 2012.
Everything Taken Away
A motorcycle accident before the Olympic qualifier. Broken femur. Broken wrist. Seven years of rehabilitation. Doctors said he would never train again.
World Champion
Came back. Won the BKB World Bantamweight Championship. Defended it with a TKO at the O2 Arena in London. Added the Flyweight title. 7-0. Undefeated.
Building the Next Generation
Still fighting at the highest level. Coaches disabled children. Runs community gym programs. And for the first time, he's putting his complete system into a course.
